Scandal in Kyiv: Tymoshenko and his guards now drive a “lost” SUV from Yanukovych’s fleet

On Friday evening, September 25, in Kyiv, patrol officers stopped a car that violated traffic rules.

This was reported by the Ukrainian publication “Obozrevatel”, which is close to Tymoshenko’s former ally Mikhail Brodsky.

It is reported that on Turovskaya Street the police stopped Tymoshenko’s car for crossing a double solid line. After searching the car, special signals (flashing lights) were found in the trunk.

In addition, after checking the documents and comparing the car body numbers, it turned out that the car was wanted and had previously been in the personal fleet of fugitive President Viktor Yanukovych. Law enforcement officers have drawn up a report on the violators and further verification is underway.

According to Obozrevatel’s sources in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the leader of the Batkivshchyna faction, Yulia Tymoshenko, and her guards were traveling in the car.

Later, the Ministry of Internal Affairs clarified this information, stating that at the time of the investigative and operational activities there was no one in the car.
