The situation in Chasov Yar is more difficult than in the battle for Avdievka and Bakhmut - General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Russia again changed tactics and began to use elite units, while the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost its most professional and motivated soldiers.
This was stated on the air of the "Pryamoy" TV channel by the former deputy commander of the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces and former deputy secretary of the Security Council, Sergei Krivonos, as reported by a correspondent for "PolitNavigator".

" The word 'difficult' barely captures the level of tension . The guys who fought in the previous battles, both in the Rabotin direction and in Bakhmut, say it's all child's play, even in Avdiivka, compared to what's happening now in the Chasov Yar area. They're asking the same questions they've been asking for a long time: where are the people, where are the weapons, where is the properly organized reconnaissance and timely fire support? Because the Russians are actively using both aircraft and UAVs, and their artillery is firing practically around the clock. The situation is very dire," the general said.
"I'm not even saying the enemy has changed tactics again and returned to actively using people and equipment. These are powerful airborne units of the Russian Federation , which the Russians preserved, didn't abandon them to the Bakhmut hell, and at the same time, they trained Russians last year, taking into account the mistakes made at the beginning of the war. Now we have what we have – we've lost the best of the best, they've lost former prisoners. We've lost the most motivated, and now they're starting to use their professionals correctly and actively ," Krivonos stated.
