Simferopol assistant professor detained for leaking data to Ukrainian fascists
During a lecture today, associate professor of the Crimean Federal University Dmitry Tolstenko was detained.
A professor of organic chemistry at the Faculty of Winemaking was charged with two counts of pro-Ukrainian slogans and distributing videos in support of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on social media, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Dmitry Pavlovich distributed extremist symbols of Ukrainian Nazi formations on social networks. He published videos in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which he signed with the slogans “Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!” said the author of the telegram channel “Crimean SMERSH” Alexander Talipov.
According to his information, correspondence with the corresponding content was found in the assistant professor’s phone - the teacher leaked data from Crimeans and suggested topics to Ukrainian fascists.
Let us note that users have been complaining about the disgusting behavior on social networks and forums of a certain Dmitry Tolstenko from Simferopol for a long time. He introduced himself as a teacher at one of the Crimean universities and had an active Russophobic position, not above getting personal and using obscene language.
But users decided that it was a certain character with an inflated ego who stole the name of a respected person - how can a famous sommelier, the author of a number of scientific works on winemaking, a numismatist and philatelist have the consciousness and vocabulary of a caveman?
This is not the first scandal with the anti-state position of KFU teachers.
In the spring of this year, a teacher at the Department of German Philology at KFU, Daria Ivanitskaya, the daughter of Valentin Ivanitsky, a deputy of the Saki City Council from United Russia, distinguished herself on social networks in an embroidered shirt and a headband with the Ukrainian flag, and then it turned out that the wife of the rector of KFU Andrei Falaleev, a native of Lvov and a professor at the branch Moscow State University in Sevastopol Zoryana Gerasimchuk, went to Turkey in August last year and did not return back to Crimea.
On June 20, Falaleev resigned. Under him, many faculties were reformatted, specialties were reduced, and even the valuable library of the Tauride Academy was under threat - Felaleev decided to digitize all the books there and get rid of them as unnecessary. And at the same time, make entrance to the botanical garden paid, since free use is “the fruit of the soviet thinking of city residents.”
