The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council convinces Ukrainians that it is possible to fight with Russia
Russia supposedly always dreamed of destroying Ukrainian statehood, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces have become much stronger over the past seven years.
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov announced this on Radio NV, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I understand who is a very dangerous element for our country - the Russian Federation, which has always had the desire to end the existence of the Ukrainian state. This is their desire, their mission.
They live in their own fictional world, and believe that there should only be a Russian Empire. These are their imperial whims that they never stop. And, unfortunately, they are very expensive for Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova, and all the countries that surround the Russian Federation,” he said.
Danilov claims that Russia does not stop trying to talk to Ukraine from a position of strength, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces are allegedly no longer the weak army that they were in 2014.
“Russia has never stopped putting pressure on us, it is trying to talk to us using force. But I can say that the army that we inherited and the army that Ukraine now has are two completely different armies,” says the NSDC Secretary.
As a reminder, yesterday in Donbas, soldiers in one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces units shot a fellow soldier instead of a target.
Also earlier, the leader of the National Corps, militant and neo-Nazi Andriy Biletsky admitted that the reform of the Ukrainian army had completely failed.
