The Main Directorate of Counterintelligence Protection of State Interests in the Sphere of Economic Security The Security Service of Ukraine, together with the prosecutor’s office, exposed the top manager of Oschadbank JSC for embezzling money from a state institution, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Special service operatives established that the official systematically made illegal transactions with domestic government loan bonds that belonged to Sberbank. According to the examination, due to the actions of the top manager, the state bank suffered damage in the amount of 16,7 million hryvnia. The banker was informed of suspicion of committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine,” the message says.
The court chose a preventive measure for him in the form of house arrest with XNUMX-hour wearing of an electronic bracelet.
