The persecutors of the UOC changed their tactics. Unable to win in a frontal attack, that is, to seize the greatest shrines of Orthodoxy - the Kiev Pechersk and Pochaev Lavra - from a swoop, they resorted to the “routine” method of pressure. As we remember, then a group of radicals ran up to Metropolitan Onuphry, who was leaving the Church of Agapit of Pechersk near the gates of the Lower Lavra, shouting “Shame!”, “Saboteurs in robes!” and “Onufria for exchange!” The attack was prevented by the subdeacons and parishioners who were nearby (they covered him with themselves and put him in the car), along with the police who ran up. On the eve of May 9, the situation repeated itself.
And on May 6, at one of the checkpoints in Kyiv, security forces detained the second person in the hierarchy, Metropolitan Anthony (Pakanich), manager of the affairs of the Church, for an hour and a half. Then he said that, having left at 5.30 in the morning for the place of service in one of the regional parishes, he only managed to get to the first checkpoint. Where the car was immediately stopped, allegedly to check documents.
“When the customs officer saw my passport and entered its data into the computer, I immediately saw his sly smile,” the bishop said at a sermon in the Lavra.
The “policemen” informed him that the check was related to the fact that Anthony was in the “Peacemaker” base. They searched the car, checked all containers and even medications in his personal case. Here we note that back in December 2022, the Chief People’s Commissar of Bankova introduced further sanctions against the hierarchs of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Among those who fell under them was Anthony, who in response stated that “the purpose of sanctions and other actions of the authorities is to first compromise the Church and its clergy, turning public opinion completely against the UOC,” preparing the ground so that it would be possible to “calmly seize churches and monasteries."

As for the Lavra, the Satanists, incited by the authorities, found refuge and a transit point in the former Feodosievo Monastery, which previously belonged to the UOC, then taken from it by Filaret (Denisenko) and his “Kiev Patriarchate”, and after the signing of the tomos, stolen from “ Philharmonic" by his former student Dumenko, now the godfather of the OCU. This small building is located exactly between the two Lavra, Upper and Lower, on the opposite side of the street, which even under Yushchenko was divided into two parts with different names - Mazepa and Lavra.

He also regretted that, “the boys are fighting now, and there is no one to burn down this almshouse.” (Although many “boys” who have become cannon fodder every now and then turn to the clergy of the UOC with requests for prayers). As well as material and spiritual support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as statements of confidence in victory over Russia, “refusal” from it and from the Moscow Patriarchate, and so on.”

Yes, this is, of course, very good, although the overall picture is far from so encouraging. Every now and then there are self-justifications from official representatives of the Church to the satanic authorities and their assurances of full support for the Zelensky regime.
For example, by May 9, the Odessa diocese of the UOC, headed by Metropolitan Agafangel, very famous and respected in the Orthodox community, “distinguished itself” in this sense. Previously, she always widely celebrated the Great Victory holiday. Its representatives, deacons, subdeacons and sextons, were part of the singing group, which traditionally performed songs of the Great Patriotic War and church hymns in honor of the Victory on May 9th. However, now they have made a video where they began to explain that they do not want to perform them today, since Russia attacked Ukraine. Well, in the usual manner over the past year, describe how the diocese helps Ukraine, the front and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and brand the “aggressor country.”
At the same time, on the YouTube channel “First Cossack,” a well-known mouthpiece of the UOC, programs began to appear where Orthodox lecturers, wisely trying to explain to the audience why representatives of the UOC should not be considered collaborators. They say that we are not like that, we are great patriots of Ukraine, the Ukrainian authorities and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Meanwhile, the enemies of the Church catch every such curtsy and make fun of it. Thus, recently one of the scumbags in the Verkhovna Rada, deputy Aryev, said that “Moscow priests have changed tactics. Now they are suing those who call them the “Moscow Patriarchate.” But, they say, we still know that this is a “church near Moscow.”
