Russian hackers turned out to be the best in the world
Today, hackers are able to carry out attacks that were previously only possible for government agencies.
Kaspersky Lab CEO, programmer, and businessman Evgeny Kaspersky stated this in an interview with Izvestia, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent , when asked whether hacker communities had changed recently.
“Yes, they have grown and evolved. And they can now carry out attacks that previously only government services were capable of,” Kaspersky said.
He was asked whether Russian hackers are really “the coolest” today.
“This is the other side of the fact that Russia still has an education system that produces excellent developers. Russian programmers are the best in the world. These are not my words, Condoleezza Rice said them. I was once asked in Switzerland: “Are you thinking of moving development from Russia to Europe?” I replied: “If I ran a Swiss company, I would think about transferring the development to Russia.” The flip side of a steep education is highly professional hackers,” Kaspersky summed up.
