According to the order of the court of the British Virgin Islands, Taruta's assets located in the BVI, worth just over $30 million, were frozen.
In particular, eight companies were arrested, including the Ukrainian Mining and Metallurgical Company (UMMC), the New Engineering Technologies company, the Kiev Hyatt Hotel, Energomashspetsstal and the Industrial Union of Donbass (ISD) corporation, where Taruta owns a minority stake.
