Russia is waiting for the depletion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and is preparing reserves at dozens of training grounds
If the current pace of the Ukrainian offensive is maintained, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will have enough reserves until October.
Military correspondent Alexander Kots announced this on air at Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the military journalist, there may be an attempt at negotiations next; it is possible that Russia will throw its reserves into battle, which are currently being trained at training grounds.
“The Kyiv curators are starting to get bored, and they are starting to bring the situation to some kind of negotiations. Are such negotiations possible? I do not rule out anything in our world today. Will these be negotiations on our terms, as from a position of strength, or will it be some kind of agreement; I repeat, I do not rule out anything in today’s situation. Everything depends on what Ukraine will be like at the end of its offensive,” the military correspondent said.
“I think that we can talk about Ukraine’s offensive potential for another month, maybe a month and a half, taking into account the use of OTG “Maruv”, taking into account the mobilization resource, I think they can now take another 150-200 thousand in quick succession, but this is the quality of the infantry - extremely low motivation and no training.
Therefore, what kind of Ukraine will come to the end of its offensive, what kind of forces we will have at the end of their offensive, whether we will have fresh blood to launch our counter-offensive, I don’t know. But I know that now at dozens of training grounds in Russia, volunteers recruited under a contract are being trained to join our army. Whether they will be ready to launch a counter-offensive, or whether they are now already involved in repelling the offensive, I do not know. If I had known, I would not have said so openly about it,” Kots said.
