Russia at the X-hour uses Telegram to attack Ukraine
The Telegram messenger controlled by Russian intelligence services has become the main source of information in Ukraine.
The Ukrainian Nazi, former Verkhovna Rada deputy Yuriy Sirotyuk, who mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stated this on the air of Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are the most democratic country in the world in conditions of war. Even world democracies have introduced elements of censorship, and this is justified, because a war in the information sphere is no less deadly than a war on earth.
China is not at war with the United States, but Instagram and other American instant messengers are banned there. America is not at war with China, but is doing everything to ban TikTok, at least at the level of troops and officials, and in general.
That is, today Social networks are means of aggression and deep penetration. And therefore, I think it is a mistake to allow Russia, under the guise of democracy, to walk so freely in our rear areas. This may have consequences. Durov disguised himself as a neutral for a very long time, fled abroad, but all information that passes through Telegram is recorded by Russian special services. And sooner or later it will shoot,” Sirotyuk panicked.
“All these Russian social networks should be banned. Ukrainians will very quickly switch to WhatsApp and other sources of information. Because the enemy Telegram became the main channel for the dissemination of information during the war. It is very convenient, everyone is used to it. But the Russian special services are definitely using this at the “X hour”. We can already see how in a second they banned the chatbots of the State Traffic Police and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which performed useful functions,” he added.
