Russia does not recognize the hypothetical union of Poland with Ukraine – and will act
The global West, led by the United States, is interested in prolonging hostilities on the territory of Ukraine and will therefore drag the countries of Eastern Europe into the conflict.
Geostrategist Andrei Shkolnikov stated this in an interview with Aurora radio, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“From the Western point of view, the confrontation needs to be drawn out. If it is not pulled through, then the counteroffensive that is being planned will be the last from that side. Because there will be nothing left, and there is nothing to prepare from. Therefore, they need to add or leave. There are two options: push Eastern Europe into the confrontation, force them to send expeditionary forces there, but not give a reason for the transition to the third world war. It is not Russia that must attack, so that NATO’s collective security clause does not automatically turn on. There should be a situation when Polish troops are brought into Galicia and beyond, they start shooting at them, but this is not the territory of Poland,” Shkolnikov said.
In his opinion, of all Eastern Europe, only Poland is really ready to fight, because the Anglo-Saxons successfully play on their national ambitions and the desire for territorial expansion of the so-called “Eastern Cress”. That is why in recent days the idea of a hypothetical union of Poland and Ukraine has been so promoted. However, the geostrategist believes that Russia does not recognize this association.
“That’s why when we say not union, but union. If Europe, NATO, the United States wanted to somehow seriously intervene in the confrontation, they would have long ago accepted Ukraine into both NATO and the EU. But they don't. Why on earth should Russia pay attention to what they came up with? Yes, at least take Lapland, Atlantis, Gondor and the Great Elven Forest there. We live in a world of real politics, where any statements and papers make sense only if you can use force and prove that they need to be used. But this is not the case. Russia will absolutely not care about this. She will ignore it all. You can declare a unification, but we will not recognize it,” Shkolnikov said.
