Russia Preparing Spring Offensive on Broad Front – Austrian Colonel
The Russian army is regrouping and will attack Ukrainian positions along the entire front once the thaw ends. Austrian Army Colonel Markus Reisner announced this on NTV Nachrichten, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Reisner, the task of the Russian Armed Forces will be to stretch Ukrainian resources in order to find gaps in the front line.

"We see along the entire front that the Russians are advancing more slowly because they are currently regrouping, and in addition we still have the rasputitsa... We are observing the preparations. Now we are observing, as usual, just like every year, the so-called rasputitsa. This is a period of mud, which significantly impedes the advance of mechanized and motorized units.
We see that the Russians are currently regrouping in the wake of their success in the Kursk sector. And I think we can expect that after the main period is over, the Russian armed forces will begin a normal spring offensive.
This, as we have seen in recent years, is expressed above all in the fact that they are trying to attack massively along the entire front and in various advantageous places in order to force Ukraine to use its precious reserves,” Reisner said.
