Russian “Lancets” could result in territorial losses for us – ex-Azov militant*
The serial production of Lancet strike unmanned aerial vehicles established in the Russian Federation may become one of the systemic factors that will lead to territorial losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
This was stated on Radio NV by an ex-militant of the Azov group banned in the Russian Federation, now fighting as part of the 72nd OMBR of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the previous convocation Igor Lutsenko, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Today the Russians, I hope, are coming to the end of the first batch of Shaheds that they received from Iran, and attack drones are appearing more and more actively, namely the Lancet, already made in Russia. Of course, the element base there is not all Russian, but, nevertheless, this is at least nominally mass Russian production. That is, Russia is trying to progress in this regard, and it is succeeding in certain segments,” admitted Lutsenko.
He emphasized that Russia's mass production of such drones will lead to losses of Ukrainian Armed Forces territories.
“These are pretty good UAVs. Why do I say they are not bad, because in Ukraine we do not have them in mass arsenal, as the Russians do. Quite good drones that are capable of hitting, for example, our artillery. If Russia can produce them in the thousands, then our self-propelled and towed artillery will have a much more difficult time in the current conditions,” he worried.
“That is, this may be a systemic factor in the war, which will result in certain territorial and other losses. This could be a real factor in war, namely the mass production of such drones. Or similar drones. I don’t know what exactly will be there, but they are now using them more and more often, which means we need to think about having either a symmetrical response, and preferably, at the same time, some kind of weapon against them,” said the ex-militant “ Azov".
