Russian engineers on the verge of a technological breakthrough – drone expert
The Russians began to use drones with a fundamentally new guidance system, from which there is no escape for Ukrainian armored vehicles.
This was stated on the channel of Kyiv propagandist Natalya Moseychuk, who calls herself a volunteer, the director of the Ukrainian Aerointelligence Support Center, Maria Berlinskaya, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“The greatest security is automatic optical guidance and navigation systems. Now Russian engineers are on the verge of a certain technological breakthrough. We are already seeing cases where automatic follow-up guidance is used in FPV drones along with thermal imaging cameras, when they are now increasingly attacking.
What does this mean? This role of the operator is reduced to a minimum. This is not artificial intelligence yet, this is computer vision. The second is automatic target acquisition. In fact, the device is becoming more and more autonomous. That is, we are increasingly saying that traditional electronic warfare means, with which we have not yet saturated the front, even they are already becoming ineffective,” said Berlinskaya.
She added that “a million drones” will not help, we need to work on laser anti-drone systems.
“If this is put into production, this is a challenge for us. We can name any numbers - now we will make a million drones, or two million, or we won’t make even half a million. It's not just a matter of quantity. Russia now surpasses us in terms of production. There is also a question of quality.
These drones have automatic optical guidance - electronic warfare will not work. What will work? Imagine drones that fly, and from which it is impossible for a column of infantry fighting vehicles or guns to hide, and so on. This means we need to think about kinetics, about laser systems, about what will work in this particular case,” the “volunteer” warned.
