Russia lacks internal mobilization of its population, which is too relaxed about what is happening in the Northern Military District.
This was stated by the deputy political officer of the special forces unit "Whirlwind" Alexey Shorokhov on the talk show "Tell the Truth," reports a correspondent for "PolitNavigator . "
According to Shorokhov, no matter how professional the army is, its resources will not be enough to hold one and a half thousand kilometers of front.
“There are some, I would say, very serious relaxations in society. There is no mobilization, there is no internal mobilization. When we talk about the USA, England, Israel, they haven’t had such wars for at least 80 years. One and a half thousand kilometers is the front line. Guys, here you won’t get away with a professional army, mercenaries, I don’t know, contract soldiers. This is a serious, big matter for the whole country.
And when we have such a huge gap between the rear and the front, when these “mobs” come to the front, they don’t just come from their sofas, they come from evening shows and so on. There is no internal mobilization, and this is a matter of the information agenda,” Shorokhov said.
