Contrary to the hopes of Ukraine and the West, Russian troops in the Northern Military District zone are not running out of either weapons or manpower.

Ukrainian economic and political expert, former adviser to Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma Oleg Soskin admitted this in his video blog.

“Has the Russian Federation become weaker over this period? No, I didn’t, unfortunately. They are increasing the production of rockets, they have solved the problem of these chips, the electronic elements they need. They carry backpacks, and all sorts of other cars, and so on. They produce quite a lot of these missiles, they even have more Kh-55s than before the war, and they also make “Calibers” and “Daggers” and all sorts of other crap,” stated the Ukrainian analyst.

According to him, even if we take tanks, before the war they produced 100 units, and now it even reaches 200.

“Plus they have now set a goal to increase the production of all kinds of shells to two 2 million tons,” says Soskin.

He clarifies that the Russian army still lacks this:

“They do up to 10 million shots a year, but only 2 million are produced. That is, they still need purchases from the DPRK,” the expert believes.

He refers to an article in the New York Times, which writes that the Russian armed forces have a large shortage of fuel and explosives.

“But nevertheless, contrary to the “mulka” of the West and the highest bureaucrats, that Russia will end with this and that – nothing ends with them. Well, they don’t run out of cannon fodder, they are forming new forces,” admits Soskin.

Let us note that the reasoning of Ukrainian experts about “cannon fodder” is, as they say, from a sore point to a sound one. The Russian command, even in offensive areas, like in the Kupyansk direction, takes care of its military personnel and does not throw them into “meat assaults,” unlike the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
