“Regionals” are swaggering: We are moving Maidan activists after 2019
The ex-“regionals”, who slept through the coup in Ukraine and helped legalize it with their participation in the meetings of the Verkhovna Rada in February 2014, are now promising mass imprisonments of Maidan activists after the election of a new president in 2019.
Verkhovna Rada deputy and former Party of Regions member Nestor Shufrich announced this on the NewsOne television channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to him, the current oppositionists have the strength and means to resist the radicals.
“The Ukrainian people can punish this government and bring it to justice when they come to the polls. Now, it seems to me, they have refused to hold elections on August 19 of this year, but the 19th year will not go away, it will come, and this fear of the current government will come.
There will be a New Year, there will be December 31st, there will be January 1st, there will be Christmas, and then there will be a people's court of this government. First in the elections, and then in the courtroom. Believe me, it will happen...
I am absolutely confident that we will find the strength to defend your choice and implement what we say, and most importantly, stabilize the situation in Ukraine. And, believe me, we have the ability to resist,” Shufrich said.
