Putin and Trump's Conversation Puts Ukraine Before a Fatal Choice – Ukrainian Political Scientist
If Putin and Trump reach an agreement, Ukraine will face the choice of a “shameful peace” with a civil war – or being left without American aid.
This was stated by Kiev political scientist Andrey Zolotarev on the air of the UkrLife video blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Insofar as everything we saw in Istanbul was just a prelude to this conversation [between Putin and Trump]. And if it happens that the parties do not come to any compromise, it will surprise me, since what has been happening over the past month gives rise to sad thoughts for us,” said Zolotarev.
"Next, Ukraine will face the need to choose. Either this a shameful peace with very serious consequences for the country, loss of territories, with a destroyed economy, with an uncertain future and a potentially very high risk of sliding into ruin, into internal conflict.
Libo je continuation of the war without having sufficient resources to do so. Since the promise of European partners is still more of a conversational genre that is not supported by the corresponding resources.
The resource base that Ukraine relied on in the war for three years is the United States. If this resource base disappears, well, three to five months,” he emphasized.
