During the Normandy Four summit in Paris, where the fate of Donbass was discussed, it was noticeable that Vladimir Zelensky is not an independent figure, but is controlled by the United States.
This follows from an interview with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a breakfast in Rossiyskaya Gazeta, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“...We were saddened by the fact that a previously prepared document, agreed upon by both assistants to the leaders of the Normandy format and the foreign ministers, was “opened” by the Ukrainian delegation, personally by President Vladimir Aleksandrovich Zelensky at the very beginning of the meeting...
Those who prepared the summit agreed (the Ukrainians signed up for it) an agreement on the disengagement of forces and assets along the entire line of contact... Zelensky sharply stated that he could not agree to this, and disengagement was only possible in relation to three settlements in addition to Petrovsky, Zolotoy and the village of Lugansk...
Putin proposed to write down that the parties will start with an additional three settlements, but their goal, and they will work on this, is to ensure that the line of contact is freed from the forces and means of the warring parties. The answer was a categorical refusal.
