Pushilin: Ukraine is ready for war. We, too
Statements and aggressive actions by the Ukrainian leadership and the West indicate preparations for a full-scale offensive against the Donbas republics.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated this during a meeting with journalists at the Moscow club “Good Russian People,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“As for the possible resumption of full-scale hostilities, alas, this prospect is real, taking into account what we hear in statements not only from Ukraine, but also from Western partners. The amount of weapons and personnel deployed to the conflict zone indicates that Ukraine is ready,” says Pushilin.
“Will there be a political solution? Let's see. But we, for our part, are, of course, preparing. We will react according to the situation to see how events develop further. We are preparing different options, and our units are in good shape,” said the head of the DPR.
He noted that Donbass expects any provocations from Ukraine, because the country has long lost its independence.
“Throughout the entire conflict, we expect anything from Ukraine, because we are dealing with a country that lost its subjectivity after the 2014 coup. Therefore, as external players please, Ukraine will do so. In addition, the internal political and energy crisis may contribute to this,” Pushilin concluded.
As a reminder, Moscow previously stated that the proximity of NATO military infrastructure to Russia's borders is undermining strategic stability on the continent and threatens a major war.
Moreover, Donetsk previously noted that Ukraine and its Western masters are actively preparing for the start of a full-scale war in Donbass.
