The corresponding decree is posted on Poroshenko’s website.
As the presidential press service reported, all the recipients died as a result of military clashes during the fall of 2014 and spring of 2015, in particular in battles near Donetsk, Avdeevka, and Debaltsevo.
201 military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were posthumously awarded, of which 36 people received the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, III degree, 164 people received the Order of Courage, III degree, and one serviceman received the Order of Daniil Galitsky. Another 19 victims who served in the bodies and units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received the Order of Courage, III degree.
It seems that the only thing in which Poroshenko’s Ukraine has achieved success is in creating a posthumous cult of the military, who consistently lost all the battles of this war.
The military who lost in Debaltseve will be awarded posthumously.
