The Zelensky project is out of control
Ukrainian comedian and showman Vladimir Zelensky, when nominating his candidacy for the presidency, did not expect to receive such support.
Political scientist Viktor Nebozhenko, who works for presidential candidate Yulia Tymoshenko, stated this in an interview with the Kyiv online publication “Apostrophe”, answering the question of who will make it to the second round of the presidential election.
According to him, the most difficult situation is with Tymoshenko, and the easiest is with the leader of the ratings, Zelensky, about whom no one suspected such success
“He is like a novice fisherman who came with a fishing rod and a toy net and sat among serious fishermen who did not take him seriously. And then a meter-long fish bites, but he cannot choose it. That is, without knowing it, he receives such great support from people. This suggests that this project has gotten out of control; now they themselves don’t know what to do. But this exposed the main problem: society is very tired of old politicians,” Nebozhenko said.
At the same time, he says that the current President Poroshenko will steal a decent percentage from Zelensky, and Tymoshenko and Poroshenko will go to the second round.
“My opinion is that even though Zelensky has the highest ratings, this does not always work in politics. Therefore, in the second round, Tymoshenko will meet with her barely collected percentages and Poroshenko, who will take away a large percentage from Zelensky. Because you can take it from someone who does not have a protection system,” says the political scientist.
