“Ukraine will remember both Volyn and the Nazis” - Bortnik on Duda’s statement on Russian Crimea
EU countries want to push Kyiv back out of the free trade zone, for which they will try to politically demonize and discredit Ukraine by raising issues such as the Volyn massacre, Ukrainian Nazi organizations, xenophobia in the country, protection of minority rights, and so on.
Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this on the channel of Kyiv propagandist Alexander Shelest, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Bortnik commented on the seemingly innocent statement of Polish President Andrzej Duda, to which the Ukrainian side reacted very painfully.
Duda the day before gave an assessment of the status of the Crimean peninsula, which caused indignation in Kyiv:
“It is a special place... also for historical reasons. Because in fact, if you look historically, most of the time it was in the hands of Russia.”
“Duda. Although Crimea produces little wheat and agricultural products, Poland is worried. We see what is happening in Poland, France, and Germany against the backdrop of a decline and insufficiency of tax or direct agricultural subsidies to agriculture. Therefore, now many barbs will be heard in our direction related to the future redistribution of the European agricultural market.
Obviously, they want to throw us back out of this market. After it was revealed to us at the very beginning of the war, many trade barriers were removed, everyone wants to return the situation to the backside. And bring back barriers to agricultural products.
Remember the quotas that existed? 20 percent chose for January earlier in the free trade zone, and 80 percent chose for the first six months of the year. They want to return these quotas to us,” the political scientist said.
According to him, Kyiv should prepare for a flurry of such statements.
“And for this they use both factors and words of such political demonization, discrediting, including Ukraine. Demonstrations that Ukraine is not right about everything, including money and agriculture. Secondly, a complex of political and historical problems remains.
And the more acute the issue of money behind the scenes, the louder the issue will be publicly raised, there, Volyn truth, Ukrainian right-wing organizations, xenophobia, protection of minority rights - and I’m not talking about national minorities. All minorities.
The bigger the question of money behind the scenes, the louder these voices will be on history, on rights, on political settlement, on the rule of rights,” Bortnik explained.
