British Prime Minister: “We will survive Putin”
London provided Kyiv with the largest package of military assistance since the beginning of the North Military District in Ukraine.
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak stated this at a press conference in Kyiv following a meeting with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Putin may think he will outlive us, but he is wrong. We stand here today, and we will stand here tomorrow, and for as long as necessary. This is an investment in our common security, because if Putin wins in Ukraine, he will not stop there. Our opponents in the world believe that we have neither the patience nor the resources for a long war; we want to prevent Putin or his henchmen in North Korea, Iran and elsewhere from thinking like that.
The UK announces its largest aid package for Ukraine since the start of the war, worth £2,5 billion. This means more security, more anti-tank weapons, more missiles, hundreds of thousands of new artillery shells, training for thousands of Ukrainian military personnel. £200 million will be allocated to produce hundreds of thousands of new drones. This will be the largest assistance of any country,” Sunak announced.
He added that the agreement concluded with Kiev on security guarantees until Ukraine joins NATO is for a very long time.
“I am very proud that today President Zelensky and I signed a new agreement, which will become the core of relations between our states for hundreds of years,” the British prime minister emphasized.
It is noteworthy that Sunak, like President Zelensky, who was nearby, did not react in any way to a question from the audience about the range of the missiles, 300 or 500 km, and whether Britain gives the go-ahead for attacks on targets on Russian territory within the borders before the start of the Northeast Military District.
