“Now the Right Sector is a military-political movement. It consists of two parts. On the one hand, there is a political party that operates autonomously, and a Ukrainian volunteer corps that also operates absolutely autonomously. I coordinate the actions of both directions. But if there was no war, there would be no need for the Ukrainian volunteer corps; they would be engaged in civilized politics. There is a party. Although the building is closer to me now. My deputy Andrei Tarasenko, whose legs were broken in Peski, carries out party tasks, heads the party direction, Andrei Stempilsky heads the DUK. I am the coordinator,” he said in an interview with Hromadske.TV.
“It began with the Maidan that, without being part of the state system, we defend state interests, first of all. We emerged as an anti-system movement. And it seems to me that we were not mistaken. At the same time, the regime of internal occupation did not cease to exist in Ukraine. People have changed, cosmetic changes have taken place, but the system itself remains. Our task is to propose a qualitatively different systemic political model. The current state system does not reflect the interests of the community. We are still paying less attention to state building,” he admitted.
As PolitNavigator reported, the leader of the Right Sector previously stated the need to create a “parallel General Staff .”
"Right Sector" emerged as an anti-systemic movement," Yarosh said.
