The “right” in the European Parliament could create problems for Ukraine
The arrival of a large number of representatives of “right-wing” parties in the European Parliament could block both its work and assistance to Ukraine. In particular, it was the Ukrainian issue in these elections that was the factor dividing the supporters of certain political forces.
Political scientist Ilya Kusa stated this on air on the video blog "Khvylya," reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.

"If you take three factions, many of them right-wing and far-right, they have 230 votes between them, enough to block decisions in the European Parliament and European institutions. If they come to an agreement, they'll be able to make a show of blocking things . This won't change the system, but it will increase its political dysfunction, sometimes leading to paralysis on certain issues.
Ukraine is coming into this because , unfortunately for us, the issue of Ukraine was raised in a divisive manner in these elections . Because, unfortunately, Ukraine, in reality, is not a unifying issue on the European and Western agendas, but rather a divisive one, when they are used as counterbalances. "Some support it, others don't, and this is used to score political points. This is the only scenario in which we will have problems if, suddenly, at the level of the European Parliament, the 'right' decides to make a show of uniting in order to delay, block, and so on," Kusa stated.
