“Pravoseki” terrorize Ukrainian cops with impunity
The Ukrainian court has completed its consideration of the incident that occurred in Dneprodzerzhinsk, Dnepropetrovsk region.
The police received a report by phone “102” that an unknown man was walking around with a Glock-17 pistol in the area of the “America” gas station. The man was soon detained, and the pistol and 14 rounds of ammunition were seized.
The ordinary story could have ended there, but events began to unfold according to a radical scenario.

A few minutes later, a Volkswagen Transporter arrived at the scene; the state sign was replaced by the inscription “Right Sector”.
A group of unidentified people got out of the minibus, approached the UAZ Patriot official car and, threatening to use physical violence to law enforcement officers, shouted death threats, namely, they promised to set fire to the official car along with the police officers, using gross obscene language.
Having received a categorical refusal, the right-wing radicals began to beat the police officers, including kicking them, threatened them with knives, damaged all the car tires, and broke the windows of the official car.
Only one attacker appeared in court, who denied his guilt and explained that the “pravosek” that day only asked the police officers where they would take their “brother” to help him.
The court took into account the participation of the accused in hostilities in the so-called as a mitigating circumstance. ATO zone, as well as a document that in this situation can be called the height of disgrace for the Ukrainian police - a report that contains the socio-psychological characteristics of the accused.
The document states that the behavior of the “pravosek” corresponds to generally accepted norms of society, the risk of committing a second criminal offense is assessed as low, and then provides the conclusion of the probation authority on the possibility of correcting him without imprisonment for a certain period.
As a result, the sentence handed down to the participant in the Right Sector riot is shameful for the justice system and the Ukrainian police – three years' imprisonment with a two-year probationary period.
