French Embassy in Moscow: Muslim picket and flowers in memory of the victims of the terrorist attack
In Moscow, pickets of Muslims took place near the French Embassy, expressing their indignation that Emmanuel Macron defended the right of the scandalous magazine Charlie Hebdo to publish caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad.
The picketers brought with them several posters with texts in English and Russian: “May Allah Almighty punish everyone who encroaches on the honor of our beloved prophet Muhammad,” “Emmanuel Macron is the number one hypocrite in the world,” etc.
A lamp was lit near the wall of the embassy, to which men of Slavic appearance brought flowers in memory of the victims of the terrorist attacks committed in France by religious extremists in recent days.
“There was also a young man in a Ukrainian embroidered shirt among those who brought flowers, however, when I began to ask him questions that were not at all difficult, he not only refused to answer them, but did not even turn his head in my direction,” said reporter Sergei Rulev.
