Russian Ambassador to London: "No Ceasefire. We are Looking for a Solution on the Battlefield and Waiting for a US Proposal"
Russia will not accept any temporary ceasefire in Ukraine.
The Russian Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Andrei Kelin, announced this on the Sky News channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"I've already seen several ideas, several plans for a temporary ceasefire for a month in the air and in the city. This is a crazy idea, we will never agree to it , and they understand this perfectly well. We will only agree to the final version when we sign it , so for now everything is very shaky.
And, of course, we won't stop, because we were already deceived once in the Istanbul agreements . Just as we had prepared a good draft, and I've already spoken about this, Boris Johnson came along and said, "Throw it away and fight the Russians; the conflict will be resolved on the battlefield." So now we're trying to find a solution on the battlefield until the US administration offers something constructive ," Kelin stated.
