Poroshenko has already put several thousand people behind bars for posts on social networks

Ukrainian security forces are rounding up unwanted citizens en masse to use as barter, while actual Ukrainian fighters are being held captive in the LPR/DPR. Human rights activist Tatyana Montyan stated this on Topinform, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to her, the country also organizes demonstrative flogging of opposition journalists in order to intimidate potential opponents.

“People are simply caught as exchange material, caught in order to cheat their relatives out of money, in order to show that “we are working, we are fighting against everyday separatism.”
There are demonstrative cases like Kotsaba, like Vasilets, Timonin, Muravitsky, which the country is closely following. There are still a huge number of unknown, unfortunate people caught for no reason, who are imprisoned for posts on social networks, because someone didn’t like them, because they are someone’s personal enemies and at the same time against the Maidan, someone caught them.
This is common. They are caught as exchange material, but there has been no exchange for 14 months. If on the LPR/DPR side these are real prisoners, people from the Armed Forces of Ukraine or volunteer battalions, then the Ukrainian side provides for exchange all sorts of incomprehensible bloggers, hacks, and everyday separatists. It's a huge difference.
In reality, thousands of people who sit behind posts on Facebook, because they said something wrong to someone somewhere, called the “revolution of dignity” a coup d’état using obscene expressions, of course,” Montyan said.
Poroshenko has already jailed several thousand people for social media posts.
