Poles are waiting with horror for autumn and the invasion of poor Ukrainians
The Poles are not at all happy about the new flow of refugees from Ukraine predicted in the fall, because they understand that, unlike the first wave, these will already be financially insolvent people.
Oleg Vostrykh , president of the Higher School of Professional Politics Foundation, announced this on the air of political scientist Yuri Romanenko's video blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Poland is expecting a second wave of our refugees because of the cold, because the infrastructure will be destroyed, it is possible that there will be no light in Ukraine, it is possible that there will be no heat. And the next wave of refugees who will not be able to live here in big cities may come to them,” the expert said.
“And if the first wave were people with money who could afford something, now we expect that segments of the population will come who are financially insolvent and cannot provide for themselves. So they say they are preparing for it. We’re not entirely happy about this, but they understand that this is inevitable, that in the fall – October, November – another wave will come,” Vostrokh concluded.
