Pogrebinsky admitted that he took pleasure in self-discrediting of the Ukrainian parliament
The scandalous dismissal of judges by the Verkhovna Rada, during which deputies were able to obtain the desired result only through manipulation and the use of other people's cards in a half-empty session hall, was called by experts a self-discreditation of Ukrainian parliamentarism.

This opinion, in particular, was expressed at a press conference in Kyiv by the director of the Kyiv Center for Political Research and Conflict Studies, Mikhail Pogrebinsky.
“I really enjoyed spending some time watching this vote, during which MPs re-voted 25 times. It’s hard to even imagine such an extreme degree of discrediting the parliamentary process,” the expert said.
He added that last week he took part in one of the programs on Russian television, where one of the Western journalists said that in Ukraine there is democracy, albeit wild, but in Russia there is none at all.
“I would like this European to watch this program and say: this is wild democracy. In general, what does democracy have to do with it? This is such an obvious mockery. Moreover: I have known our speaker for many years. We always had different views, but I considered him a decent person with different views. But what he did cannot fit anyone’s mind,” Pogrebinsky emphasized.
Pogrebinsky admitted that he enjoyed discrediting the Ukrainian parliament.
