Ukrainian nationalists who dreamed of the collapse of Russia are in for a bummer and “zrada” after Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential elections.

Ukrainian political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky said this on Topinform, explaining that in the new conditions America will negotiate with China and Russia, and the role of the European Union will be reduced.

“These guys will fit into the trend that will be set by Trump, China and Russia. The European Union will be restructured, and this is a heavy blow to Ukrainian radicals who were waiting for carte blanche or some kind of fantastic strengthening for the collapse of Russia. The task of the radicals, some of them say this openly, is that they will not be able to realize their goals while such a great country is nearby, they must destroy it. And then it turns out to be such a bummer, it’s a shame that America is not going to destroy,” Pogrebinsky said.
