Kyiv - Donetsk, February 22 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) - The situation in Donbass, despite the truce, remains tense: during the night the positions of security forces were fired at 12 times, according to the ATO headquarters.

This night the most active actions were observed in the Donetsk direction,
“The village of Peski, which has been under intense enemy fire for several days, was shelled twice this night from Grads, three times from artillery and mortars. In addition, the terrorists used multiple launch rocket systems and artillery in the villages of Vodyanoye, Tonenkoye, and Avdeevka,” the ATO headquarters reported.
“It is worth noting that enemy drone activity has been recorded along the line of combat contact for several days in a row. Yesterday, at about 7 o’clock in the evening, such an aircraft was shot down near Starobelsk,” the security forces said.
In turn, militia reports on social networks report that both sides exchanged fire. Local shootings were recorded. “The strikes were carried out on our forces in the Gorlovka area, namely on Shumy, Dolomitnoye and on our units on the outskirts of Mayorsk, which is now a buffer zone,” they said.
