Having visited Crimea, Western politicians begin to see the light
The United States is angry with Russia, which did not allow American plans for Crimea to be realized.
Ex-Prime Minister and former Minister of Justice of Slovakia Jan Charnogursky spoke about this in an interview with Izvestia, answering the question why obstacles are being created for European politicians who want to visit Crimea, which was reunited with Russia in 2014.
“Understand, the European Union is now a vassal of the United States, which is against the reunification of Crimea with Russia. In Washington, everyone was just waiting for the moment when the new leadership in Kyiv would give up the peninsula for the deployment of American military infrastructure. Crimea is a strategically important place. With the help of naval bases on the peninsula, it is possible to control not only the Black Sea, but also the Caucasus. Now the Americans are simply angry with Russia, which did not allow these plans to be realized,” said the Slovak politician.

“In addition, everyone understands that Crimea is not currently occupied. Life on the peninsula is normal. And if many Europeans come there, they will begin to understand that they are being told about human rights violations and Russian aggression. Immediately, support for Russian Crimea will increase significantly. And neither Washington nor Brussels are interested in this. I personally have visited the peninsula three times since 2014 and plan to also go there at the end of this month,” Charnogursky said.
As PolitNavigator reported, European politicians who have visited Crimea continue to be amazed by what is actually happening on the peninsula.
Moreover, the Slovak parliament stated that history confirms the rightness of the residents of Crimea , who decided to separate from Ukraine and join Russia.
