“For subjective reasons” – a major federal project cannot be started in Crimea
The construction of yacht marinas and port points in Crimea has been postponed until 2024.
Nikolai Zelenkevich, General Director of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea "Crimean Sea Ports", announced this on air at "Crimea 24", reports a correspondent for "PolitNavigator".
“For a number of subjective reasons, work has been suspended, and construction on the project should begin in 2024,” he noted and recalled that we are talking about a yacht marina in Kerch and a port point in the village of Yakovenkovo near Cape Opuk.
According to the socio-economic development program on the Crimean coast, it is planned to build 13 yacht marinas and 21 port points, designed for the simultaneous parking of 3,5 thousand ships.
“As for yacht marinas, their arrangement is very expensive. This is aggravated by the fact that the construction of some projects takes place from the sea, and not from land. Because there is no free space on land. As for self-sufficiency, it will not pay for itself. It’s expensive,” Zelenkevich emphasized.
The volume of government investment in infrastructure creation will amount to 70 billion rubles. The implementation period is set at 2030. In the neighboring Krasnodar Territory, by this date they want to build 23 marinas and port points for convenient passages along the coast, designed for 7 thousand places. Investment volume – 500 billion rubles.
The first are planned in Sochi, Gelendzhik, Anapa and the Tuapse region. Despite all the demand, there is a shortage of construction sites - it is prohibited to build industrial facilities within the sanitary districts of resorts.
