“The PMR can become the base for the work of Russian media in the region” - Pridnestrovian deputy
After more than 30 television channels and websites were banned in Moldova, any elections in the country, particularly the local ones on November 5, are turning into a farce.
Deputy of the Supreme Council of the PMR, political scientist Andrei Safonov wrote about this on his page on the social network.
“A total ban on ANY oppositional or simply objective publications leads to suspicion of psychopathy among some figures in the ruling group,” says Safonov.
According to him, with such a dictatorship, Pridnestrovie is definitely not on the way.
“The Chisinau dictatorship itself pushes away democratic Transnistria. This is her decision,” the Pridnestrovian deputy emphasized.
He believes that the websites of the blocked publications could be hosted on other servers.
“We just need to simply explain to the residents of Moldova how to bypass these crazy prohibitions. Well, and of course, the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic could become the main base for the work of the same Russian media,” Safonov noted.
According to the expert, next in Moldova we should expect an attack on the Orthodox Church.
