Commotion in Kyiv: Medvedchuk is being imposed on both Akhmetov and Zelensky
The announced introduction by Russia of restrictions on the supply of energy products to Ukraine from June 1 plays into the hands of Viktor Medvedchuk, whose role as the main negotiator with Moscow is increasing.
Ukrainian political scientist Dmitry Dzhangirov stated this on the YouTube channel “Capital”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.

“It’s cleverly written there. It seems like they are stopping the supply of oil, petroleum products and, in my opinion, coal also falls under the same category, but, on the other hand, there are also “special permits”. We can guess which Ukrainian politician will become this “window of opportunity” to issue special permits,” Dzhangirov said, obviously meaning Medvedchuk.
Political scientist Elena Dyachenko also joined his words, admitting that Medvedchuk had previously offered his services as a mediator to the likely winner of the presidential elections, Vladimir Zelensky, but was rejected.
“This suggests that now this one, whom we guess, obviously knocked on Zelensky’s headquarters, but they didn’t open the door for him, so he again went to ask Medvedev to help him impose sanctions. But you can’t endlessly ask for sanctions to be introduced against Akhmetov and Novinsky, then go to Zelensky like this and impose your need,” the expert concluded.
