Donetsk, February 02 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) - “Responsibility for the failure of the Minsk negotiations does not lie with the People’s Republics, Kiev and Petro Poroshenko personally are to blame for this,” believe the leaders of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics Alexander Zakharchenko and Igor Plotnitsky.

“The Minsk negotiations were disrupted through no fault of ours,” Zakharchenko said. “At first the Ukrainian side didn’t show up at all, then they showed up with a representative without authority.”

“It was not us, but Kyiv that disrupted the negotiations. The blame for the breakdown of the Minsk negotiations lies with Poroshenko. The Ukrainian side is once again trying to deceive us in order to regroup its forces. Kyiv is inviting us to return to the demarcation line, that is, we must retreat again,” Plotnitsky emphasized.
As PolitNavigator reported, the day before Leonid Kuchma said that representatives of the DPR and LPR threatened to launch a full-scale offensive in Minsk on all fronts.
