Parnas, who received less than a percent of the votes, decided to challenge the results of the State Duma elections
The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation accepted for consideration the claim of the People's Freedom Party (Parnas) against the Central Election Commission to invalidate the results of the elections to the State Duma on September 18. The hearing is scheduled for February 28.

“The Central Election Commission approved the election results without checking complaints about irregularities during voting and vote counting. Also, the CEC did not consider the issue of recounting votes where the reliability of the voting results was questioned (including St. Petersburg, Saratov, Chelyabinsk region, Dagestan, Bashkiria). In addition, the CEC misinterpreted its powers and, contrary to the direct provisions of the law, decided that it did not have the right to conduct a recount of votes,” PARNAS outlines the essence of its claims on its official Facebook page.
As a result of the elections, PARNAS received just over 384 thousand Russian votes, which amounted to 0,73%.
