Expectations for the Iron Dome were too high, says Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine
Israel overhyped its military capabilities, leading to inflated expectations in Ukraine at the start of the Second World War, when Kyiv begged for the Iron Dome. In reality, this is a system that only "more or less" intercepts medium-range missiles.
Political scientist Yuri Romanenko, who has been placed on the wanted list by Russia, stated this on air during a video blog. Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine Mikhail Brodsky, the correspondent reports "PolitNavigator".

I can just say as an example that At the beginning of the war, many people turned to us and said: “Give us "Zhiron dome», close it with your dome "Our sky." That is, people really imagined some kind of iron dome that would cover the sky over Ukraine, and the missiles would not fall.
Well, unfortunately, for both Ukraine and Israel this is far from the case; no such dome exists.There is a missile system that copes more or less with missiles “Short range, and that’s all,” Brodsky said.
