Militias write poetry and want to become civilians (PHOTO)
Donetsk, January 08 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) – Students of Donetsk universities took part in a creative evening dedicated to the Christmas holidays.

During the poetry readings, poems on a wide variety of topics were recited, and for many participants this was their first experience of public speaking.
According to the acting Minister of Information and Communications Marina Berezhneva, all creative people in Donetsk now have an amazing prospect: “You have the opportunity to fully realize yourself. It is likely that everyone from Donetsk to Kamchatka will know your names. And today I want to wish everyone that Christmas brings you happiness, that long-awaited peace and victory come to our land, and that we all live long, happily.”
A representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Donetsk People's Republic, Major Arkady Fedoseev, who, as it turned out, was a big fan of poetic art, also came to the poetic “light”.
“Today, servicemen from our corps also create, describing in poetry the military operations and heroism of their comrades. The commander of our first brigade bears the call sign “Poet,” and many of our guys are engaged in poetry and creativity. Today's military personnel are tomorrow's ordinary civilians. But now everything looks the other way around: yesterday’s miners, drivers, and just students have become military personnel, defending their homeland. But I want to say that your passion for poetry should remain for many years, because Vladimir Mayakovsky said that “Poetry is the same as radium mining. Production in grams, labor in years. You exhaust a single word for the sake of – Thousands of tons of verbal ore.” Friends, I want to wish your creativity to be easy and relaxed.”
