The UN called on the world to chip in $214 million for poor Ukrainians

The UN called on countries around the world to provide $214 million in financial assistance to Ukraine.

This was stated by UN Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs Neil Walker, RBC-Ukraine reports.
The official noted that this money needs to be raised to normalize water supply and food, as well as for housing for Ukrainians.
“We call on the governments of all countries and donors to provide assistance to Ukraine in these difficult times. In total, this protection requires $214 million, which is necessary to provide people with life-saving assistance,” Walker emphasized.
The UN has called on the world to contribute $214 million to help poor Ukrainians.
