“They are under the influence of the Kremlin”: Czech politician is disappointed with the Hungarians
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and the population supporting his actions are allegedly “agents of the Kremlin.”
Speaker of the Czech Parliament Marketa Pekarova stated this on Radio Liberty, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The presenter asked to comment on Hungary’s reluctance to approve Ukraine’s accession to the EU and NATO.
“I am sure that he [Viktor Orban] is not alone with these statements. And I am disappointed not only with Viktor Orban, but also with all Hungarians who adhere to such ideas. It is incredible that it is the Hungarians, who have a truly difficult experience in their history with the Soviet Union, who now support such thoughts. This is a disappointment for me.
But I think we know very well that this is the cost of Russian influence in Hungary,” Pekarova said.
