“F*cked” deputies in the company shocked Gordon
When meeting in person, Verkhovna Rada deputies give the impression of being arrogant and out of touch with everyday reality.”
Kiev journalist Dmitry Gordon spoke about this on the Ukrainian TV channel NewsOne, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This week I was in one company, and there were about ten deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. I didn’t know or see any of them before, to be honest. How arrogant, arrogant, what crazy people, completely divorced from reality, they are, who unknown how they got there and imagine that they are the arbiters of the destinies of a huge, beautiful country! I looked at their manner of conversation, at their communication, at their level of intelligence, at these expensive suits and crocodile belts, at these attributes of happiness, at their look and at this wretchedness of thought,” the journalist shared his impressions.
“I thought, why does such a country in the center of Europe have such power? How could this happen? The mechanism, of course, is clear to me. I understand all this, but when I see it, it just makes me sad. I look at them and think: they are rich people, they talk about how they trade votes, they do not hesitate to tell it even in my presence, realizing that I hate it,” Gordon added.
