Ukraine will not be able to capture the Kursk nuclear power plant because it does not have the strength to provide logistics for the Armed Forces of Ukraine 80 kilometers deep.

Major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and former Verkhovna Rada deputy Igor Lapin announced this on his video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"How can we today, if we can believe some experts' estimates that there are a thousand people participating in this operation, and another two, perhaps, in reserve… how will we provide this 80-kilometer depth with logistics and everything necessary? It's not like we reached Kurchatov, and there's a deep rear area behind us—no, there will be logistics lines behind us that will be cut off by the Russians ," Lapin stated.

A military expert, ex-functionary of the Nazi VO “Svoboda” banned in the Russian Federation, Dmitry Snegirev, agreed with him, according to whom it is impossible to seize a nuclear power plant without destroying it.

" From a military standpoint, capturing it is practically impossible, because the intense fighting would lead to a man-made disaster. But the question arises: why capture it? To reduce the power supply, say, to disable it, it would be enough to knock out the power lines, that is, the transmission lines leading from the nuclear power plant itself. Just blow them up and be done with it," suggests Snegirev.
