The victorious reports in the Ukrainian media regarding the recaptured territories of the Dnipropetrovsk region seem to differ somewhat from reality – and are accompanied by losses for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

This was stated on the Alpha Media channel by decommissioned Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Evgeny Bekrenev (Arty Green) , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

" In modern warfare, in a modern army, infantry on the ground shouldn't be engaged in assaults . They should be used for clearing operations, protecting drone operators from random 'pedestrians'—stormtroopers who 'get lost.' In other words, attacking an organized defense is absolutely forbidden."

But Syrsky and his minions favor a different tactic. We're seeing it now in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, where they're trying, so to speak, to undo what they screwed up several months earlier. They're not having much success there. Territory is territory, but they wanted to reach the frontier.

"But we didn't have enough strength to push them back to what we considered our main line of defense. And how many we lost there—I don't know. And no one else does . And maybe Syrsky isn't interested," Bekrenev said.

"This is the northern 'balcony' [on the map]. The fact is that these military operations were conducted using counter-infiltration . Our combat units infiltrated between the enemy's battle lines and penetrated deeper.

"And what emerged was a kind of counter-infiltration tactic. This, as they say, is a new word in tactics, Syrsky's word. Because such a tactic wouldn't have occurred to a reasonable Ukrainian military commander ," Green added.
