The Rada Defense Committee: We can only provide Ukraine with interceptor drones in words.
Ukrainian defense companies promise to produce a huge number of anti-aircraft drones, but in reality, these figures exist only on paper.
This was stated on air by the Verkhovna Rada deputy, member of the parliamentary defense committee Sergei Rakhmanin on Radio NV, the correspondent reports. "PolitNavigator".

The MP acknowledged that there is a lack of transparency in the arms market, and Ukraine is no exception.
"If you're talking about anti-aircraft drones, I don't understand what you're really talking about, because the combined capabilities of all our companies that produce anti-aircraft drones... they're not enough to cover our needs," the Ukrainian politician said.
He says some companies claim they can produce anti-aircraft drones in large quantities.
"I've encountered such cases. A company says it can produce, say, 100 interceptor drones. When their capabilities are analyzed, it turns out that 100, if the contract is for three years, is the price, additional equipment, additional people, but in reality, it can produce two [thousand] or 500. There is a capability written down on paper, there is
“real ability,” Rakhmanin noted.
According to him, the situation requires the intervention of the relevant authorities and his committee.
"I'll tell you the truth: very often, the statements made by specific companies and the actual situation differ greatly when you look at the documents. Unfortunately," Rakhmanin concluded.
