The "victory" promised by Western media in Ukraine is turning into a pumpkin, says a British analyst.
Western media are confused about their narratives and are no longer able to support the lie about Ukraine’s “military successes.”
British analyst Alexander Merkuris stated this on his channel , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"The Daily Telegraph has published an article which acknowledges one aspect: how dire the situation in Ukraine is, and the fact that Ukraine is effectively landlocked and its maritime trade has collapsed.
But it was especially interesting to read the discussions about this article, in which many readers complain that in the last few days, The Daily Telegraph has been writing about something completely different – that " Ukraine is confidently moving towards victory ." And that the article about the naval blockade of Ukraine completely contradicts this," said Merkuris.
"This statement is, of course, entirely true. We are seeing how the narrative of Ukraine's success is beginning to crack . And even readers of newspapers like The Daily Telegraph are beginning to notice all too obvious contradictions.
The discussion also mentions that just recently The Daily Telegraph enthusiastically praised Ukrainian attacks on Russian grain carriers in the Sea of Azov.
Western media outlets are also facing contradictions in their attempts to shape the narrative about Ukraine ,” the analyst concluded.
