Instead of the collapse of the Russian Federation, Ukraine is now promised the “slow death” of Russians from “cabbage soup and vodka”
If in 2014 Ukrainian politicians promised voters the inevitable collapse of Russia under the yoke of Western sanctions, now, on the eve of new elections in Kyiv, they are calling for the “slow death” of the Russian economy under the sanctions blow of the United States.
In particular, such a promise was voiced on the radio “Novoye Vremya” by the former Ambassador of Ukraine in Minsk Roman Bessmertny, reports the PolitNavigator correspondent.

“...What is happening is simply the transformation of the Russian Federation into the former Soviet Union, when we are building a wall, an “iron curtain”, an information blockade, an economic blockade, we are talking about how we are replacing everything with our own production. As a result, something is being done, some process is going on, but it is like skin - it is pressed in, pressed in and pressed in, and from all this it will gradually become worse. I see how Americans behave, like, “Do you want this? Okay, so be it. You will die slowly. Your economy will die slowly,” Bessmertny said.
He is confident that Russia will now look for an ally in the form of China.
“It’s not for nothing that Russia today is reorienting itself towards financial cooperation with Beijing, but somehow we have to live, the economy has to work? Here we must always take into account one thing: in all these actions we cannot consider Russia the way we consider Poland, France, Germany, this is a different mentality, a different view.
Putin and the entire political leadership are not at all interested in what will happen to Russians from all this. They don’t care at all, because the principle is “Women give birth,” they don’t care what he eats – cabbage soup and vodka, or whether he eats normally,” Bessmertny emphasized.
